Hi Tobias,

another idea. could be great if in view i can show user comment regardeless filter conditions. Comment from user point of view aren't log packet ;-) so i would see them in every view. You can put a switch like 'filter comment on/off'

Hi Giuseppe,

I'm not sure how useful this option would be since comments are semantically tied to a particular log entry (i.e. a comment is meant to describe the following log entry). If there would be an option to always show comments, then the comment could appear in the wrong context if the commented log entry was filtered out. A better idea would probably be to add an option to show comments if and only if the related log entry is shown in the view.
