Topic: Clear log

Hi there,

I was wondering how difficult it would be to change the 'ClearLog' function behaviour so that it would only erase entries from the smartinspect console that belong to the application that issues the command.

I'd like this because I tend to clear the log at the beginning of an application run. However on systems where there are more processes writing to the console this means I also lose their logging.

Hi Gerben,

Thanks for the suggestion. I'm not really sure how/if we would change the behavior of the ClearLog method, as it currently doesn't send its application name to the Console. We would probably add another Clear method to the libraries exactly for this requirement.

I added it to our feature wish list for now and we will consider it for a future versions.
