Topic: how check connection from sw

Hi,

In some cases is usefull use TCPIP but i would like to know form software if there is someone connected to the port or not.
Similary could be usefull to know from program if File Protocol has really created a file.

In general could usefull to know the status of SmartInspect transport layer.
This can be done with actual version ?

Hello Giuseppe,

There's currently only an indirect way to do this. You can register an event handler to the Si.OnError event and if your event handler is not called after trying to connect to the Console or after trying to open a file, then the corresponding connection is working as expected. There's currently no direct way to query the current status of a connection.
