We are happy to announce the immediate availability of TestRail 1.1. This version introduces a role and permission system, a new blocked test status as well as several smaller improvements, changes and some bug fixes.

Fixed: Closing a test run does not work from run activity page
Fixed: Parsing and displaying defect IDs in tests does not correctly work with spaces (instead of commas)

We are now also offering a hosted online trial of TestRail. So if you haven't had the chance to download and install TestRail, you can now request a hosted trial and we will setup TestRail on our servers for you.

Updating to the new version
You can update to the new version by installing it over your existing TestRail installation (there's no need to uninstall your existing installation). The database upgrade wizard is automatically started when you access TestRail with your web browser.
