Topic: The application does not support Chinese Characters

big problem, it does not support Chinese Characters any pages in the applications, it renders unknown characters when I input chinese text. I think this is a big defect.
Probably it does not support some language, right?

I found you did not use UTF-8 encoding in DB, so all Aisa characters will not correctly stored in DB.
Why not  use UTF-8?

Hello Hugh,

Yes, TestRail doesn't currently support UTF-8/Unicode, but we are working on this issue. Please also see this forum thread about Unicode support:

I understand that this is a critical issue for many users and we will hopefully be able to support UTF-8 soon (the original problem that prevented us from supporting UTF-8, namely SQL Server's lack for UTF-8 support, has been solved by Microsoft in the mean-time).
